The Franchise Business Festival

Every second of every day, across the globe, people going about their business are having a ‘franchise experience’. Whether it’s stopping for a take-out coffee, sending a parcel to a friend overseas, going to the gym, having a facial, shopping at a local supermarket, having their vehicle serviced, or enjoying dinner at the latest gourmet restaurant, chances are that most of these establishments are franchises.

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF FRANCHISE EXPOS
After 20 successful years as a purely indoor exhibition, the Franchise Business Festival, owned and managed by the Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA), has found a new home at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre. The new indoor/outdoor venue will serve to host activities, competitions, food and entertainment that showcase the ‘lifestyle’ aspect of the many sectors that make up franchising.

A SHOWCASE FOR YOUR FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITY
Franchising is considered the cradle of innovative entrepreneurship and visitors to the Franchise Business Festival will have access to a wide spectrum of franchise business opportunities — from well-known brands to the up-and-coming brands of tomorrow, there will be business opportunities at every investment level. Whether you are an established franchise or a new concept, you need to be there!

The Franchise Business Festival attracts a concentrated pool of quality prospects, making it the ideal platform for franchisors not only to sell franchises, but also to strengthen their franchise brand in the public eye, to their competitors and even the media.

With a comprehensive programme of talks and seminars, the Franchise Business Festival is a one-stop shop for education, evaluation and entertainment — all under one roof!

NETWORKING IS KEY
Identified as a key vehicle for business transformation, franchising is receiving a lot of attention in the business arena and in Government circles, both within Africa and internationally. The Franchise Business Festival 2017 will be the meeting ground for everyone involved in the franchise industry, from suppliers and support services to financial institutions, the legal fraternity and funding organisations.

WHAT’S ON OFFER
Participating franchises and businesses will showcase how their franchise products/services operate in real time. DIY franchises will provide hands-on demonstrations of the services they offer and customers will be able to experience some of the treatments the beauty or nail franchises offer at the show.

Most exhibitors will offer their products (retail) at special discounts or run competitions with fantastic prizes.

Suppliers to the franchise industry will offer their products at festival prices. Catering equipment products and commercial vehicles, for example, will be offered at festival discount prices while asset/vehicle funders will be on hand to assist with the necessary funding.

The Franchise Business Festival has partnered with iTickets, the company tasked with promoting the event and ticket sales, to offer a basket of promotional prizes including a grand visitor prize for a qualifying lucky winner.

EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT:
As Johannesburg’s most talked about events venue, The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre combines a state-of-the-art exhibition hall with the added benefit of outdoor event space. The Franchise Business Festival will take full advantage of all the venue has to offer with an array of events, competitions, demonstrations and outdoor games to keep the whole family entertained.
