#SAFranchiseFriday featuring Company Social Brasserie

BACKGROUND
Inspiration for CO. Social Brasserie comes from the most successful venues globally where service culture and the concept of sharing good food and memorable occasions are combined to shape an extraordinary new experience.

COmpany draws on the 25 years’ experience and know-how of the successful Cubaña brand. The staff culture, which has contributed to the success of Cubaña, will be used as a building block to deliver the best customer experience in the business. CO. Social Brasserie has established itself as an innovative concept that is committed to expanding their footprint through franchising.

THE CONCEPT
The dinner table was the original social network and CO. Social Brasserie’s social tables have resurrected the food sharing initiative where it is all about connecting perfect strangers and friends to an unforgettable dining experience.

CO. Social Brasserie pride themselves on serving fresh and locally sourced produce which adds to the customer experience and they are highly passionate about their indulgently crafted artisanal menus.

The ultimate CO. Social Brasserie location should be easily accessible for guests and roadside visibility should be high on the list of deciding factors. COmpany is designed as a classy collection of different spaces — a restaurant, bar, outdoor dining space and function venue. The interior space lends itself to a predominantly industrial feel with vintage twists and loads of character. Brick walls, hints of turquoise, copper paint effects, exposed ductwork ceilings and a striking hex-shaped bar spotlight the sleek design of this Brasserie.

CO. Social Brasserie is designed to be an all day and night venue. Typical clientele enjoy lengthy meals and conversations and spend their hard-earned money on pampering themselves with quality food experiences.

The reigns are held by two well-trained operators/owners overseeing three shift managers who are supported by a team of waitrons, bartenders and kitchen hands. The average staff complement is 30 per shift.

FRANCHISOR SUPPORT
Some of the advantages of being a Co. Social Brasserie franchisee is the training and extensive support provided by a solid organisation. The franchisor provides a turnkey solution that includes site selection, lease negotiations, store planning, layout and design. The franchisor is also on hand to ensure a successful store launch and ongoing assistance thereafter.

The franchisor provides comprehensive support to the franchise network including marketing, a soft opening and in-store training that equips franchisees with the skills to successfully run and manage a Company Social Brasserie.

FRANCHISEE PROFILE
Company Social Brasserie franchisees are hands-on operators who exude a passion for the restaurant business, possess exceptional communication skills, are results-driven, retain their willingness to learn and, above all, are willing to work within the framework of the franchise system.
